The Richmond Hill fabrics & wallpapers by Sanderson

Founded by Arthur Sanderson in 1860, Sanderson is an internationally renowned brand in the field of interior design and decorating.  Its quintessentially English fabrics and wallpapers, bedlinen, paint and tableware collections offer classic, inspirational product, design innovation and exceptional quality.

Sanderson celebrated 150th Anniversary in 2010, being the oldest surviving English brand in its field. Having been granted a Royal Warrant in 1923, Sanderson still supplies fabrics, paint and wallcoverings to HM Queen Elizabeth II and British Royal Palaces.

Sanderson’s core products are co-ordinating fabric and wallpaper collections, often based on documents from its extensive archive.

Martin-Hudson & Gibson's window display now features the Richmond Hill Wallpaper collection, which includes designs that either coordinate with the prints or complement them in colour and style. Each of these elegant wallpapers stand alone as classic patterns that will enhance both contemporary and traditional interiors in a soft useable colour palette.

The two of our favourites are Pavilion and Oleander.

Pavilion is drawn from 18th Century Chinoiserie wallpapers and has been printed digitally to allow for more colours and a larger scale format.

Oleander is a contemporary design of trailing oleander stems that coordinates with the fabric of the same name.
