Manuel Canovas 50th Anniversary Collection Now In!

Today is a scorcher! What better weather than today’s to welcome in Manuel Canovas’ new 50th Anniversary fabric collection?

Inspired by the fascinating and legendary city of Jodhpur with its blue on blue tones and jasmine-scented zephyrs, and by the luxurious and enchanting Mogul palaces, true gems of Rajasthan, the Canovas collection evokes the opulence of the era and transports us straight into the bazaars of the Sun City of India...Resplendent with vibrant and sophisticated shades...our fabrics conjure up colourful saris and brightly-hued turbans...In myriad colours - aniseed, fuchsia, mandarin, saffron, absinthe green... This vibrant collection is an ode to colour...colour being the common theme and very essence of the Manuel Canovas brand for fifty years
Ariane Dalle, Design Director at Manuel Canovas.

We couldn’t have put it better ourselves. When the collection was first introduced to us at Martin – Hudson & Gibson everyone in the room was “ooh-ing” and “aah-ing” at the wonderfully vibrant colours reminiscent of those seen at a Delhi Bazaar.

The lively combinations of magentas, cyans, violets and tropical greens seen in the Samira range are all grounded by neutral backgrounds on linen or cotton and can be used for upholstery and curtaining and anything in between.

The Normandie range consists of classic stripes and checks with a twist- the signature Canovas brights; for curtains and upholstery.

The choice of colours in the Foch velvet range is fantastic-  everything from the lightest mink to the deepest aubergine and every dark and bright shade in between, you are spoiled for choice- this book has a velvet for everyone.

We have several metres of different fabrics from the 50th Anniversary Collection so if it’s bright and bold patterns and colours you like then pop in and have a look.
