Spring 2014 Has Arrived Early!

The new Manuel Canovas Spring/Summer 2014 fabric books have arrived at our showroom. 

The Parisian fabric house is internationally known for its exclusive quality in design and vivid colours in their fabrics and wall coverings. The new Nikita, Villa and Toledo books represent this signature style perfectly, but with a new flair for Spring/Summer 2014. These books are now available at Martin - Hudson & Gibson Ltd for viewing or lending. 

The Nikita and Toledo ranges are instantly recognisable as Canovas designs, with luxuriously soft weaves, exquisite linen embroideries and of course... those vivid, zesty colours we all know and love. 

Belinda is a wool cotton and poly mix, of similar weave to, but with a far softer hand than Zagora from the Vence collection.

Pali Lin is 100% linen, suitable for curtains and upholstery (backing is recommended for upholstery use, to aid stability). This linen design is available in five colour ways.

Carla, Nikita & Kaliska are all beautifully vivid linen embroideries which if used for curtaining, would surely make the window the focal point of any room.

Those who liked the Kerala "Rose Indien" from Samira will be very pleased to see Texas "Pivoine". The Peony pink upholstery weight design is stunning. The Texas cardinal red is an exquisite, eye- catching tone.

The not so brave needn't despair- The Creative Design and Marketing teams at Canovas have thoughtfully introduced colours more suited to Irish and British weather and lifestyles- we are offered neutral linen tones, chocolates, blacks and golds. 

Texas Noir

Kansas (Toledo range) is a small herringbone design which is reversible and soft to the touch; suitable for upholstery, with a 40,000 Martindale Rub Test.

Villa is a new range which contains both silks and synthetic mixes, mostly suitable for lighter use such as curtains and bed throws.

Pompadour II from Villa-, a viscose/cotton mix of solid colour, can be used for light domestic upholstery and has 39,000 rubs. 

Again, the good people at Canovas have taken the Irish and British lifestyles and tastes into consideration and have introduced this range with a mix of bold brights and subtle neutrals.
