Ralph Lauren Wallcoverings – Signature Century Club 2013
A brief look at the glamorous new wallpaper range from Ralph Lauren.
Our first impression upon turning the front cover of the Signature Century Club Wallcovering Collection was that it is an eclectic mix of dramatically decorated wallpapers, using inspiration from the four corners of the globe.
The designs range
from the Asian influenced Marlowe Floral (5 new colorways) and Chinese toile-style village scenes to the slightly bolder Aragon flocked animal
print wallpaper.

The collection
also contains a mix of classics you might expect from Ralph Lauren like ticking
stripes (available in both print & flock), but the Josephine Deco design
and grass-cloths are a pleasant surprise. The Painters Linen in Aubergine
(smooth) and Ionian Sea Linen in Cassis & Lacquer Red (slub finish) are
stunning grass-cloth wallcoverings in beautifully vivid, deep colours.

The colours
offered are mostly on a dramatic palette of deep reds, blacks and navys. If
that’s not your cup of tea, don’t despair- you will be spoiled for choice if
you’re looking for luxurious and shimmering golds and metallics and vibrant jewel
tones.
The collection is
said to reference the glamour of 1920’s & 30’s hotels and you are
guaranteed to impress your guests with these papers.
